Aberdeen Hospital Trust The
Aberdeen Hospital Trust was created in 1994 to receive bequests to the Aberdeen Hospital. A gift to the Aberdeen Hospital Trust allows the principal amount to be
used to secure equipment for medical use, improve patient care or as directed by the Trust
conditions or specific terms of the gift.
Our Mandate
To give, transfer, lend and pay such monies to the Aberdeen Hospital in order to secure
equipment for medical use, to be used for special building maintenance projects and to
maintain, promote, expand and develop patient care and to
sponsor medical education for employees and staff at the Aberdeen Hospital.
Healthcare Support Committee
The Healthcare Support Committee of the Aberdeen Hospital
Trust was formed in October 1999 to identify areas requiring financial and /or community
support that may lead to the successful recruitment and long term retention of physicians
and healthcare professionals at our Hospital. Click here for physician opportunities at the Aberdeen Hospital.
To date, the following areas of support have been
established :
- Education Fund for patient care givers
- Social events to introduce and welcome physicians to our
area and exchange community information.
